Especially in the context of technological iteration and surging demand, it is necessary to ensure product integrity and reliability through full-chain management. The quality control of electronic component distribution can be carried out from multiple aspects such as supplier management, inspection processes, warehousing and logistics, and traceability systems. The specific guidelines are as follows:
Supplier Management
Qualification review: Thoroughly verify the relevant qualification documents of suppliers, including business licenses, quality system certifications (such as ISO9001, IATF16949), production licenses, and environmental protection certifications (such as RoHS compliance certificates), to ensure they meet the basic quality standards.
Capability assessment: Through on-site audits or by entrusting a third-party institution, the precision of the supplier's production equipment, production capacity, R&D capabilities, and quality control system can be evaluated. The operation status of key links such as the incoming inspection process and the handling mechanism for non-conforming products can also be understood.
Performance evaluation: Based on the past batch qualification rates, delivery on-time rates of the suppliers, as well as customer feedback records such as any major quality complaints, we will prioritize establishing cooperation with suppliers who have maintained long-term relationships and have no negative records.
2. Factory Inspection
Packaging inspection: Check the sealing, length, indentation and other details of the packaging bag. Compare the packaging humidity sensitivity level with the Datasheet to ensure consistency. Carefully examine whether the label paper, layout, ink font, etc. are consistent with the original material. Prevent the mixing of refurbished materials and counterfeit materials.
Appearance inspection: Use a high-power microscope to check if there are any grinding marks on the plastic packaging of the material, whether the surface has a coating, and use acetone to test if the marking has been reprinted. At the same time, measure the dimensions of the material and observe whether the material foot coating material, foot alignment, etc. meet the standards.
X-ray inspection: Using X-Ray non-destructive testing equipment, the internal bonding lines of the chip package are penetrated to check for any missing or broken lines. Through the consistency of the leads, the shape of the frame, and the size of the Die, it is determined whether it is an irregular product.
Function testing: Using tools such as I/V curve testers, multimeters, and LCR testers, we test whether there are short circuits or open circuits between the pins of the components, and check whether the electrical parameters of the components can meet the requirements specified in the technical specification.
Decap inspection: For possible counterfeit or refurbished materials, the packaging is removed using lasers and solvents, revealing the Die and bonding lines. Then, using a high-power microscope, the surface circuit layout, process defects, and whether there is the original factory logo are observed to identify the authenticity of the chip.
3. Warehouse Management
Environmental Control: Set the storage environment based on the type of components. For ordinary components, the temperature should be maintained between 10-30℃ and the humidity between 30%-70%. For sensitive components, more stringent temperature and humidity conditions are required. At the same time, comprehensive ESD protection must be implemented, and operators must take electrostatic protection measures throughout the process.
Inventory Management: Adopt the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory turnover principle to prevent component performance degradation due to long-term storage. At the same time, conduct regular inventory checks and random inspections of the stored components to ensure the quality of storage.
4. Logistics and Transportation
Logistics partner selection: We have established long-term cooperation with well-known domestic and international courier and logistics companies such as SF Express, FedEx, and DHL. These logistics enterprises have mature transportation processes and professional experience in transporting electronic components, which can better ensure the safety of the transportation process.
Transport protection: Based on the characteristics of the components, proper packaging protection should be carried out. For fragile and sensitive components, additional cushioning materials and anti-static packaging should be used to ensure that they are not affected by vibrations, collisions, static electricity, etc. during transportation.
Traceability system construction
Information Record: Utilize tools such as the ERP system to meticulously record information such as the batch identification, production date, supplier code, and inspection records of the components. Take photos to document each detail of incoming material packaging and appearance.
Quick Traceability: In the event of a quality issue, a well-established traceability system enables quick identification of the production source, distribution process, and related quality inspection data of the components, facilitating prompt implementation of corrective measures.
